More about the wedding

Unplugged Ceremony

Please don't take pictures during the ceremony, as they might interfere with the photographer. We will share the photos as soon as we get them.

During any other time at the wedding, feel free and encouraged to take as many photos as you would like. If you would like, you can post them whenever you prefer, but please also send them to us or to our Google Docs or Drive account.

Dress Code

Beach Formal, i.e., formal attire in a lighter color palette.

Women: Cocktail dresses to floor-length dresses, jumpsuits.

Men: Suits, linen, light colors if you want, no tie needed.

Mallorca will be hot, so we want you to be comfortable.

Here is an article from The Knot about formal attire:

https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire

But don't worry too much about your outfit; use this as an excuse to get really dressed up if you want, but feel free to wear something nice that you have. With Beach Formal, I envisioned fun, light, and breezy, so wear something you feel good in!

The gardens are covered in cobblestone

Please consider this when choosing your shoes, we would discourage stiletto heels.

Weather

Mallorca is hot, not as hot and humid as Arlington but still warm. In 2023, the average temperature was sunny with highs of 87 and lows of 71. It rarely rains that time of year.

Before the ceremony starts, come join us for a welcome drink and mingle with the other guests.

We will host a brief and heartfelt ceremony. Following this, Carl and I will adjourn to a separate room and formalize our marriage on Zoom, guided by a wonderful officiant from Utah, ensuring the legal aspect of our union.

This will be an extended cocktail hour, allowing you to wander through the exquisite gardens and savor some delicious food.

The venue closses

Following the cocktail hour, we will all gather in the gardens for a delightful plated dinner. Please make sure to specify any dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

And then the celebration begins! We'll have a dance floor with a DJ and plenty of cozy corners for chatting and relaxation.

At midnight, the music will be relocated to the courtyard because of noise ordinance laws. At this point, we'll have a sparkler exit, but please be assured that the party is not coming to an end

At this point, we must bid farewell to the venue.

Beach Form, what does that even mean!?!
